An Assistant Quantity Surveyor is required by an award winning consultancy-based firm in their busy Park Royal London office working with Transport for London on a five-year commission. This Client is supporting the Mayor's Transport Strategy for London, ensuring that our Capital has the transport infrastructure it needs to retain its position as a world-class city. Responsibilities will include: Input to and maintenance of valuation and other databases, production of monthly reports, agreement of measures, new rates and final accounts, negotiating with contractors as appropriate. The Successful candidate must hold a qualification in Quantity Surveying or Civil Engineering and have prior Knowledge of CONFIRM & ICE Conditions of Contract and Contract Documents for Highway Works. They must be computer literate and have a methodical approach to their work, self-motivation with the ability to work on own initiative with minimum supervision and contribute positively to the existing team is essential.
